We worked alongside Basco Civil to engineer and construct the Fagan Park Boardwalk.
The boardwalk in Fagan Park was designed to be all inclusive, durable, environmentally conscious whilst also being low profile.
The boardwalk aimed to link up multiple walking tracks and playgrounds that are installed in Fagan Park.
We used Fibre Reinforced Plastic as the subframe and decking system that is supportive whilst also minimising the soil disturbance and chance of tree root damage.
A challenge for us was ensuring the design worked alongside the Disability Code’s maximum slope whilst minimising the amount of earthworks required.
We helped to design and engineer an accessible boardwalk to ensure the community can enjoy Fagan Park to its potential.
